Financing Your Treatment
Did you know that our fees are significantly lower than the Nova Scotia Dental Association Fee Guide for Orthodontic treatment?
Once you have been evaluated and Dr. Richardson has determined a treatment plan which is unique for you, she will have our Treatment Coordinator review your fee options. We try to make financing your treatment as convenient as possible, and we will create a fee schedule that will meet your budget needs.
Most payment plans are structured over 20-25 months, and your total fee will include your full treatment and one set of retainers when you are finished. Your fee also covers any retainer check appointments you have with our office for the first 12 months after your braces are removed. Some offices, particularly when treatment is being rendered by a dentist and not an orthodontist, have additional fees such as lab expenses or separate charges for X-rays, for example. In our office, the fee you commit to includes all services rendered from beginning to end.
Navigating your Orthodontic insurance benefits is often a complicated and difficult process, especially when you have several insurers. We have expertise and can help families maximize their benefits and can assist in directly billing insurance companies. We also offer a 5% discount for patients who wish to pay their entire fee in full (comprehensive cases only).
