Financial Information

Once you have been evaluated and the doctor has determined a treatment plan which is unique for you, she will have our Treatment Coordinator review your fee options. We try to make financing your treatment as convenient as possible, and she will create a fee schedule that will meet your budget needs.

Most payment plans are structured over eighteen months, and your total fee will include your full treatment and one set of retainers when you are finished. Your fee also covers any retainer check appointments you have with our office for the first 14 months after your braces are removed.

We accept payment via MasterCard/Visa or Cheques for full treatment. You will be issued a receipt after your Orthodontic consultation, and if you continue with treatment a monthly receipt can be sent to your home address only at your request. If you have dental insurance for Orthodontic coverage, we will send your insurance carrier a treatment plan (or predetermination) for pre-approval of your Orthodontic benefits.

We are happy to provide direct billing to your insurance company for full Orthodontic treatment cases. (Please Note: this is only available in our Dartmouth location) Your initial consultation appointment and diagnostic records appointment prior to commencing your braces are not billed directly, and must be paid in full on the day of those appointments and you will be given an insurance form for those appointments and be able to get reimbursed through your insurance carrier.

We offer a 5 % discount for patients who wish to pay for their entire Orthodontic treatment in full. (Full treatment cases only). PLEASE NOTE: If we are directly billing your insurance carrier then the 5% discount does not apply. We also offer a special reduction for multiple family members.
